        Judy Kuriansky

   Judy Kuriansky is the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Dating and The Complete Idiot's Guide to a Healthy Relationship.  She holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.

   For the past 22 years she has dispensed love advice on radio call-in shows.  Her latest show was the New York based Love Phones.

   During her early days as a radio advice show host, she used to phone her mother during advertisements to ask for her advice.  Says Judy Kuriansky, "She's my trusted adviser, so I'd call and ask her stuff like 'What would you say?' or 'Did I say the right thing?'"

   Psychology really is a science, right? Physicists, economists and biologists often call mom during lunch hour to ask if they said the right thing.
